Foreo Four Cheek Facial

The Brief

Swedish skin-tech brand, FOREO, was announcing the launch of its most exciting range yet – The Luna 4 collection. Part of the range was a first-of-its-kind body cleansing device, The Luna 4 Body. Clinically proven to remove 99% of dirt and oil from skin, FOREO wanted to lead the conversation around full body cleansing and get coverage beyond the beauty pages for the new launch.

The Big Idea

We spend hours and thousands of pounds perfecting the skin on our face, but when it comes to skin below the neck, we often neglect it.

 

To create conversation around the importance of full body cleansing we worked with skincare expert Dr Raj Arora to develop the world's first 'Four Cheek Facial Treatment'. That's a facial for the cheeks on the face… and the bum. Cheeky.

 

The facial was available for free at The Four Seasons Hotel Spa for a limited time, with media and influencers invited to experience it for themselves and in turn driving social content and earned media coverage for the campaign.

The Results

The idea generated a mixture of news, reviews, interview and lifestyle pieces across national, consumer and broadcast media. Highlights included getting an idea about a face and bum facial into Financial Times How to Spend It, not to mention Grazia, Daily Express, The Sun, Absolute Radio and Women's Health. The treatments took place over 3 days and were attended by more than 40 people. As a result of demand, an extra day was added for January and the novel treatment was included as a permanent add-on to The Four Seasons Spa treatment menu.
