The Background

Erika Lust is an indomitable, pioneering filmmaker and her eponymous brand, ERIKA LUST, is changing perceptions of what porn is, and what it can be. Shot from the female gaze, the brand makes ethical, inclusive and relatable adult films, and is the antithesis to antiquated 'big porn'.

The Work

For over a year now we've been working with Erika to help normalise 'good porn' in the UK, promote sex positivity, and bring conversations around porn, sex and masturbation out of the closet and into the open. We've rolled out a series of high-impact, low-cost creatives (such as calling for intimacy coordinators to be recognised at The Academy Awards and Baftas) secured countless articles on ground-breaking new films in mainstream media outlets, and placed a series of in-depth think pieces with Erika in high-profile interview slots.

The Results

Highlights from 2023 include the Metro, Hypebae, i-D Magazine and Teen Vogue all applauding our idea to get intimacy coordinators recognised at the Oscars and Baftas. Then there was a stunning cover story for T2 in The Times and an extended interview on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour. As you can probably guess, it was the first time an adult filmmaker had featured on the influential and discursive show. How's that for normalisation?!
