The Task
We worked as an extension of SpareRoom’s PR team for eight years, driving news generation and strategic spokesperson profiling across trade, business, broadcast, national and consumer media.

The Big Idea
We’ve positioned key spokespeople (such as founder Rupert Hunt in the picture above) as go-to authorities on UK property, using stakeholder insight to shape commentary aligned with media needs.
From quarterly rental index reports to major housing trends and policy shifts like the Renters’ Rights Bill, journalists routinely turn to us for rapid, expert input on breaking stories.
Alongside the always-on day-to-day press office we also run smaller creatives that tap into the everyday lives of renters. From launching the very first Pet Think Tank and sharing an astronaut’s advice on flatsharing to creating the perfect mathematic equation to get Ross’ sofa up the stairs in Friends, it’s fair to say we know a thing or two about getting renting stories into the nationals.
Our work has secured over 1,000 pieces of coverage over the years, with high-profile placements in The Sunday Times, BBC, MailOnline, Metro, Sky News, and This is Money, as well as trade titles including Property Week and Property Industry Eye.
