The Brief
Kraken Black Spiced Rum’s annual Halloween activation is sure to scare the pants off anyone brave enough to attend. For their 2019 iteration, however, they wanted to dial the fear up to 11 and make the two-day event a truly terrifying experience.

The Big Idea
Get an acclaimed Hollywood horror director to direct a Kraken bar experience. In a world first, Neil Marshall, the twisted mind behind The Descent and Dog Soldiers, oversaw every aspect of the event, down to the blood bag cocktails. We even got the British film classification board to give an official 18 rating to a bar for the first time ever.
