Another way to do media partnerships

To highlight the inspiring lifestyle and interiors content available on www.thejoyofplants.co.uk we partnered with Red magazine to showcase its Houseplants of the Month.

The event was themed around the growing wellness trends and social media, and was curated by Red magazine. Workshops included a mindfulness session infused gorgeous aromas of white fragrant flowering plants, a hanging plant craft workshop with interiors stylist Sally Cullen, an Instagram workshop with social media whiz and photographer Hannah Argyle.

The event was designed to get readers up-close-and-personal with plants and help drive a spike in social media reach and buzz across the @joyofplants Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feeds.

The whole event was packed out, with every available space filled and many high profle bloggers and Instagram users in attendance, looking to sharpen their skills and get some zen. In addition to the guaranteed coverage we secured as part of the media partnership we also achieved a huge spike in social engagement, with Facebook activity doubling, and Twitter reach increasing by 607%.
