In June, we launched the world’s first pet passport photo booth for dogs on behalf of our client MORE TH>N, where every single element of the custom-design build catered to man’s best friend.
The activation set out to raise awareness that pets – just like humans – must have a passport prior to travelling abroad, while also giving owners the opportunity to capture the best possible snap of their beloved pet for its travel documents this summer
Upon arrival at the booth, owner and dog were first directed to an adjoining grooming station, where pet stylists were on hand to prep four-legged guests to ensure they were looking their best in front of the camera.
Once prepped and ready, dogs were then invited to take their place in the booth and pose for their headshot. The booth itself boasted a range of handy canine-inspired features, including an adjustable basket-topped stool for dogs to perch on while they had their photo taken.
The aptly-named ‘Pet Paws-port Photo Booth’ proved a major hit with everyman and his dog as an experiential, with more than 400 pooches stopping by to have their snap taken in the three days it was live – first for a day at Victoria Park in London, prior to then popping-up for a weekend at DogFest 2017 in Knebworth (otherwise known as the Glasto of the canine world).
Not only that but the booth also got tails wagging among media as well, resulting in over 40 pieces of press coverage for the campaign. Highlights include features with The Sun, Metro, Evening Standard, Time Out, MSN, Yahoo!, Your Dog and Dogs Monthly among a fair few others. Paw-some stuff.
