The Burger King team at Cow spent last week building the world’s first operational restaurant to be made entirely out of sand.
Open this Bank Holiday weekend, Burger King on Weston-Super-Mare beach was designed by sand sculptor Mark Anderson.
Taking three days to build it contains around 100 tonnes of sand and boasts 15 seats. The idea is to serve up to 1000 BK® Fusions Mint Choc Swirl ice-creams at a reduced price of £1, with all proceeds going to charity Weston Hospice Care.
