Now here’s a bouquet that should make up for forgetting the wife’s birthday!
To mark the Flower Council of Holland’s ‘My Favourite Flower Campaign’ we created the the biggest bouquet ever seen on these shores. Comprising of 12,000 stems and nearly 6 metres in height, the bouqet was creating using the ten favourite flowers as voted for by the British public.
And as our research revealed that just a third of British women get purchased their favourite flower less than once a year, the Flower Council of Holland Tweeted out to people in the London area to come down and take away a bunch from the bouqet, with queues down the South Bank - ensuring the bouqet was distributed to homes all the capital. Coverage appeared in The Sun and The Daily Telegraph the next day – blooming marvellous (ouch!).
