ROSES ARE BLACK…AN ODE TO VALENTINE’S DAY FROM KRAKEN RUM

Ever one to express adoration from the depths of the ocean, we worked with our pals at Proximo to deliver a hyper-personalised social campaign this Valentine’s Day… Picking a series of influencers and reaching out to the brand’s true fans, we got busy making sure that everyone would #LoveTheKraken.

In what was an extremely positive and well received campaign, we made up #LoveTheKraken gift boxes featuring a romantic pair of miniatures, a single black rose and handwritten calligraphy note directly addresses to our tentacled Cupid’s target! In the case of our influencers it was a simple posting job to personal addresses and agents – but with the Kraken’s true loves we went one step further…

Asking people to nominate someone (either a partner or pal) who they thought would really appreciate some affection on February 14th, we sent out 50 giftboxes on behalf of them and the mythical beast to generate some real Valentine passion in the darkest possible manner.
